I'm glad to see more and more microbreweries opening up as well. It would be great to see any one of these new breweries grow to the size of Schlafly/Boulevard. STL is known as a brewing city - for obvious reasons - but we don't have a diverse range of breweries to show for it.
There's a lot of brewing knowledge/talent here in STL, but most of it is at A-B. Perhaps if A-B experiences some "changes" in the coming months, we'll see some A-B veterans go off on their own.

It is great to see expanding microbreweries amid the shadow of AB. I just hope they're all good.
There are apartments upstairs, yes. I'm not 100% sure how many, but I think it is three are four. However, about the restaurant, its office space. Makes sense considering the noise concerns.

Food? Who cares? I want a full beer review as soon as it's ready.
We had one of those Granite City breweries open here in Olathe and I waited with anticipation. Food good? Check. Atmosphere? Check. Own brews? Ugh.
I drive to Lawrence where there is a great microbrew with awesome beer. Come to KC and the first round of Ad Astra Ale is on me!
